Chandrababu Naidu holds Video Conference with Secretaries, HODs and Collectors

Aandhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s introductory remarks:
This Video Conference is held every 15 days to set certain achievable targets for all the departments. This year 33% more funds have been received from the central government, compared to the last 2 years

We are performing well in so many aspects because of our people-friendly schemes and their proper implementation

With 96% satisfaction level, Chandranna Bima has become a popular scheme among the people because of citizens’ faith on government

Integrating IT platform with all the departments will make Andhra Pradesh a model State
In Guntur and East Godavari, higher public satisfaction levels have been recorded for Grama Darshini. The respective District Collectors have shared the measures that were taken. A 6 months action plan was prepared, the involvement of public representatives also helped.

Grama Darshini :
The Grama Darshini mobile app helps government officers to gather and organise details of the beneficiaries from respective villages
The frequency of officers’ visits has increased at nodal and GP levels
Sadhikara Mithras will be given intense training at mandal level
Chief Minister’s remarks:
All the HODs and District Collectors should have visited their constituencies at least once by next meeting
Government officials and District Collectors must make sure that they analyse the implementation of scheme and programs so that proper review with the help of reliable data from RTG can be done
For the people working with citizen on-field facts and soft skills are equally important for more satisfaction levels
I want to see an improvement in public satisfaction level with respect to Grama Darshini next meeting onwards

Ranking of schemes under key priority areas:
In 51 center sponsored schemes we stand no. 1, in 28 schemes we rank between 2 to 5, in 8 schemes we rank between 6 to 10
Potential improvement of different departments is discussed, all the departments’ performance is expected to be above 50% by 30th September
AP stands first in drawing funds from central government in Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) and Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana schemes
Chief Minister’s remarks:
In every program and scheme, AP should be No.1 in India, we must work towards achieving this by taking inspiration from the best practices
All the officials must take ownership and responsibility through regular review using accurate data from RTG

Agriculture and Allied sector:
State has recorded favourable rainfall predictions
233 mandals have less than 100 mm rainfall and 70,000 acres of land in 92 mandals is in critical stress
Best practices like rain guns, sprinklers and ZBNF are being implemented in these places
Farmers have received help from advisories at district and mandal levels

Animal husbandry and Fisheries :
8% dip has been recorded
We are focusing on the convergence of farm ponds, Gokulams and other allied schemes
In the last 6 months, there have been internal and external problems so the department has come up with a revised action plan incorporating all the feedback
Chief Minister’s remarks:
Quality control, export and import duties need to be concentrated on

Horticulture:
2.4 lac ha of land is targeted under micro-irrigation
Anantapur and Kadapa are doing well in horticulture
10,000 acres is targeted under sericulture mulberry cultivation, 8,000 acres is already under cultivation

Water Resources Department:
The department has very well-defined key priorities for the next 6 months
Out of this, the first priority is the Polavaram project, second priority is the completion of 45 of 57 projects, third is the development of 3,578 caskets, de-silting of 9,114 water bodies
The department is on track with its targets, 58.5% of the Polavaram project has been completed, 12 out of the 57 projects have been inaugurated and 3 will be inaugurated tomorrow at Auka Tunnel, out of 3,578 caskets 2,992 have been completed

Forest Department:
55% of the set target set has been achieved
Development of ecotourism under Vana Vihari scheme is being done
9 new Nagaravanams are taken up
Barren hills plantation taken up in 174 hillocks
Vanam Pilusthondhi is held in schools and colleges every Saturday
Chief Minister’s remarks:
Forest Department needs to work in convergence with Swachh Andhra campaign

Panchayati Raj and Municipal Administration:
Solid waste management: collection and lifting of garbage done with 98% effectiveness
9 waste to compost management clusters have been identified out of which 2 will be under trial run by next month
Out of 79 ULBs, 3 have been adopted by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
In the next 45 days, 1st phase of signages will be completed in all the ULBs

Health :
All the districts except Vizianagaram and Guntur showed decrease in MMR
In Thalli Suraksha app 330 doctors have been registered and over 50 tutorials have been uploaded so far which are receiving a good response
National Quality Council has accredited 20 hospitals in the State
Flagship schemes: an overall 6.9% increase in public satisfaction rate
Dengue cases have gone down the past 10 days, additional measures are being taken to decrease the Malaria and Dengue cases further

Women And Child welfare:
Whole growth monitoring systems to be supplied by an outsourced provider for all the 55,000 Anganwadi centers in the State
Growth monitoring equipment is being replaced in Anganwadi centers in the State
A program for sensitising the mothers about the weight of babies has received a good response
We aim to provide power supply and toilets to all the centers by the end of this month
With 85% public satisfaction level, Penamaluru and Pedanandipadu topped the list of cleanest regions

Welfare department :
Except for Anantapur, all the other districts have achieved the set targets
The grounding of 2 Lac assets will be done in the next 3 months
Most of the issues reported under Chandranna Pelli Kanuka have been resolved

Yuvanestham:
2,18,673 citizens have registered so far and 17,065 grievances have been registered
